EventHound Technologies, LLC | Version 2.1 | Final Publication Copy
Effective and Last Updated: July 31, 2026

These Community Guidelines also serve as EventHound’s Acceptable Use Policy. They apply to Visitors, Members, Businesses, public content, Accounts, reports, verification activity, and other use of EventHound.

1. Welcome to the EventHound Community

EventHound helps people discover and share local Promotions, Businesses, activities, food, drinks, entertainment, and experiences. Our goal is a community that is useful, trustworthy, respectful, reliable, welcoming, and safe. By using EventHound, you agree to follow these Guidelines, the Terms of Service, and other applicable rules.

2. Our Community Principles

Be accurate. Publish truthful, current information about dates, times, prices, availability, eligibility, locations, restrictions, and redemption details.

Be respectful. Disagreement is allowed; harassment, threats, intimidation, discrimination, humiliation, and targeted abuse are not.

Be helpful and authentic. Contribute genuine value, represent yourself and your relationship to a Business honestly, and do not manipulate attention, points, verification, rankings, or visibility.

Protect privacy and safety. Do not expose private information or place others at risk. Exercise particular care with content involving children or vulnerable individuals.

Respect rights and laws. Post only content you have the right to share and comply with intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, consumer-protection, and other laws.

3. Participation by Account Type

Members may publish eligible Promotions, comment where comments are available, answer eligible Business questions, contribute through verification and freshness features, report content, maintain profiles, and earn Member Points.

Authorized Business Representatives may create and manage Business Profiles, publish Promotions with an active subscription, publish Community Updates, upload permitted Business content, and use eligible analytics and subscriber tools.

Visitors may browse public content but may not circumvent access restrictions, Scrape or extract data without authorization, interfere with EventHound, or misuse public content. Features may vary by Account type, subscription status, location, eligibility, testing, and operational requirements.

4. Content and Conduct That Are Not Allowed

Do not promote, facilitate, or engage in illegal activity, fraud, identity theft, trafficking, terrorism, money laundering, illegal goods or services, or other crimes.

Do not publish fake Promotions, misleading prices or discounts, false urgency, altered dates, false Business claims, or material omissions.

No scams, phishing, fake giveaways, counterfeit goods, deceptive fundraising, pyramid schemes, or misrepresentation of identity, authority, or affiliation.

No repetitive or mass posting, unsolicited advertising, coordinated manipulation, multiple-Account abuse, automated posting without authorization, or artificial likes, points, verification, rankings, or visibility.

No bullying, hate speech, discrimination, threats, stalking, doxxing, repeated unwanted contact, encouragement of self-harm, or targeted humiliation.

No promotion or glorification of violence, graphic gore, dangerous acts, harm to people or animals, or instructions for violent or unlawful conduct.

No pornography, explicit sexual material, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual-services solicitation, exploitation, or sexual content involving minors.

Do not exploit, abuse, groom, endanger, traffic, solicit personal information from, or violate the privacy of a minor. Child sexual abuse material is strictly prohibited.

Do not publish private or sensitive information without authorization, including home addresses, personal contact information, identification numbers, financial or medical information, passwords, or authentication credentials.

Do not upload copyrighted, trademarked, or other protected material without rights or permission, remove rights notices, or misrepresent ownership.

Do not circumvent security, gain unauthorized access, reverse engineer, Scrape data without authorization, introduce malware, exploit vulnerabilities, disrupt availability, or interfere with another Account.

AI-assisted content must remain truthful, lawful, and compliant. Do not use AI to impersonate, fabricate Promotions, deceive, generate spam, or manipulate engagement.

Do not manipulate Member Points, verification, claims, reports, subscriptions, Business ownership, or moderation processes, or evade feature restrictions.

Do not bypass restrictions, suspension, or termination through new Accounts, another person’s Account, deceptive identities, or technical workarounds.

5. Promotion Standards

Promotions must accurately describe the offer, dates, times, pricing, availability, eligibility, restrictions, and redemption instructions. Businesses must honor advertised terms as required by law. No bait-and-switch practices, fake urgency, hidden material restrictions, misleading comparisons, or duplicate active Promotions.

6. Reporting and Review

Use available reporting tools or contact contact@eventhound.com to report suspected violations. Reporting does not guarantee removal, and the absence of a report does not prevent EventHound from acting. Knowingly false, malicious, or abusive reports may violate these Guidelines. EventHound may use automated tools and human review and may consider severity, context, evidence, prior conduct, safety risks, and legal obligations.

7. Enforcement

EventHound may remove or restrict content, reduce visibility, issue warnings, restrict features, revoke badges or privileges, adjust Member Points, suspend or terminate Accounts, remove Business Profiles, preserve evidence, contact authorities, or take other reasonable action. EventHound may act immediately and without prior notice for serious safety, security, fraud, legal, child-protection, or repeated violations.

EventHound may also cooperate with law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other governmental authorities when required by law or when EventHound reasonably believes doing so is necessary to protect individuals, Businesses, Members, Visitors, EventHound, or the public.

8. Appeals

You may request review of certain enforcement decisions by contacting EventHound. Appeals do not guarantee reversal. EventHound may request additional information and may make the final determination to the extent permitted by law.

9. Changes to These Guidelines

EventHound may update these Guidelines to reflect product, community, legal, or operational changes. Material changes will be communicated as required, and the Last Updated date will be revised.
