- Provide correct event dates, times, and locations
- Include accurate pricing information and any applicable fees
- Clearly state age restrictions (21+ for alcohol-related events)
- Include any necessary disclaimers or limitations
Content Quality
- Use high-quality, original photos when possible
- Write clear, descriptive event descriptions
- Include relevant hashtags and categories
- Update information promptly when changes occur
Legal Compliance
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses for events
- Comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- Follow advertising standards and truth-in-advertising laws
- Respect intellectual property rights
Prohibited Business Practices
- Posting false or misleading information
- Bait-and-switch tactics or hidden fees
- Spam or excessive posting
- Posting content that violates our Community Guidelines
- Impersonating other businesses or individuals
- Posting events that promote illegal activities
Promoted Content
Businesses may purchase promoted placements to increase visibility of their posts. Promoted content must still comply with all guidelines and applicable laws. Payment does not guarantee specific outcomes or attendance.
Enforcement
We may take action against business accounts that violate these guidelines, including:
- Removing violating posts
- Restricting posting privileges
- Suspending or terminating business accounts
- Refusing refunds for promoted content that violates guidelines
