Posting & promotions
What can I post? Food/drink specials, limited-time deals, activities, classes, shows, and events. Use categories: Food, Drink, Activity, Event (plus subcategories).
What’s not allowed? Misleading prices, unlawful items/services, hate/harassment, adult content, weapons, illicit drugs, multi-level marketing, or unsafe claims. See Business Posting & Advertising Policy.
Do I need exact dates/times? Yes for events and time-bound deals. If ongoing, mark as recurring and set clear availability windows.
Can I schedule posts? Yes—set start/end dates and recurrence (daily/weekly/monthly). Expired posts auto-archive.
Accuracy, pricing & disclosures
Final price. Show the real, attainable price and any minimums/conditions (e.g., “with entrée purchase”).
Sponsored content. We label “Sponsored.” If you received compensation from a partner, disclose it in the post body as well.
Alcohol promotions. Include age restrictions and comply with local/state rules (no targeting under 21).
Creative & content quality
Image rules. Clear, relevant images; no excessive text overlays, shock content, or deceptive mockups.
Copy tips. Lead with the offer, date/time, and location; avoid ALL CAPS and clickbait.
Linking out. Use your site, booking, or menu links. UTM parameters are supported.
Distribution, targeting & ranking
Who sees my posts? People near your location and those who follow or search your business/categories.
