You have to check out the Star Party hosted by the Ventura County Astronomical Society at Moorpark College's Charles Temple Observatory! This event is all about experiencing the wonders of the night sky. Join us for a special presentation by Kevin Marshall, a VCAS Astronomer, who will share insights about what's up in the sky. You'll also get to explore the historic observatory and learn about its fascinating instruments and history. Plus, VCAS volunteers will be on hand with telescopes to guide you through the night sky. It's a free event, open to the public, but seating is limited, so consider bringing your own lawn chairs or blankets for comfort. Don't let a little rain or cloudy skies stop you; just be aware that the event will be canceled in such cases. This is a night of discovery, exploration, and wonder that you won't want to miss!
