DeSoto Public Library is excited to host the Heart of Texas Therapy Dogs for a heartwarming monthly reading program called 'Reading Tails'. Every 2nd Saturday, kids can enjoy 15-minute reading sessions from 2:00 to 3:00 PM in the Children’s Area, where they can read aloud to trained therapy dogs. This unique experience provides a supportive and non-judgmental environment for children to practice their reading skills. For those who may have fears or allergies, the library will also offer animatronic dogs to ensure everyone can participate. It's a wonderful opportunity for kids to engage with reading in a fun and interactive way!
