This looks like an amazing opportunity to explore the wonders of nature after dark at Whittier Narrows Nature Center! On November 4, from 5:30 PM to 7 PM, you can scout for nocturnal wildlife such as owls, bats, and coyotes while gazing at celestial wonders like the Moon, stars, and meteors. This guided hike will allow you to learn about the native habitat in a whole new light. Make sure to wear long pants, close-toed shoes, and a light jacket to stay comfortable in the evening air. Don’t forget to bring water, a flashlight or headlamp, and a backpack for your essentials. Children are welcome to join in on this adventure, but please note that pets are not allowed. It’s a fantastic way to connect with nature and enjoy a unique experience!
