The Los Angeles Fathomiers are hosting their 58th Annual Scramble Meet, a signature competition that brings together divers from all over Southern California for a thrilling Blue Water competition. The event kicks off at first light, and all competitors must ensure their fish are inside the weigh-in circle by 3:00 PM sharp at Wilder’s Addition Park in San Pedro. Participants can compete from a boat, kayak, or shore, and there’s a limit of three fish, with only one fish per species allowed. Non-members are required to pre-register, and after the weigh-in, there will be a BBQ and a huge raffle featuring gear from generous sponsors. Even if you’re not competing, it’s a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the festivities, see some incredible fish, and connect with the Southern California spearfishing community.
