You need to check out the Education Station at South Carlsbad State Beach! This engaging event runs from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Fridays, where you can explore the small brick building near the campfire center, which serves as South Carlsbad's 'mini museum'. A State Park Interpreter will be on hand to guide you through interactive exhibits and natural artifacts, making it a perfect opportunity for families and children to learn while having fun. You can also create crafts and ask questions about the exhibits, which change seasonally, ensuring there's always something new to discover. Plus, motivated youth can participate in a Junior Ranger Challenge to earn a stamp or badge. Campers and walk-in guests are welcome, but please note that there is no day use parking on site.
