This caught my eye! The 13th Annual Turkey Run is happening at Lake Perris Dam, and it’s a fantastic way to kick off Thanksgiving with some gratitude and miles! The event features a 1-Mile Kids Race, a 5K, and a 10K, all set against the beautiful backdrop of autumn foliage and the lake. The kids' race starts at 8:15 AM, followed by the 5K and 10K at 8:30 AM. Awards will be given to the top 3 boys and girls in the kids' race, as well as the top 3 male and female runners in both the 5K and 10K. Plus, every participant will receive a finisher medal! It’s a family-friendly event, so bring the whole crew and enjoy this great community Thanksgiving tradition.
