Make a splash this summer with a paddle boat ride at Irvine Park! Grab your family or friends and enjoy a relaxing ride around the lake while taking in all the summer scenery. Paddle boats are available for rental and can fit up to 2 adults or 1 adult plus 2 small children. Renters must be 18 years or older and a valid driver’s license, state ID, or passport is required as a deposit. The maximum weight limit is 400 lbs per boat, and at least one rider must be 4.5 ft tall to reach the pedals. Life jackets are provided and required for children 13 and under. After your ride, stick around and enjoy everything else Irvine Regional Park has to offer, from train rides and bike rentals to the OC Zoo, picnic areas, and more!

Meet at Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round Parking Lot #1 at 5:00 AM, and get ready to hike at 5:15 AM sharp. The hike covers 6 miles to the stunning Mount Hollywood Summit, featuring a fast-moderate pace and a steep incline. Launch begins at the West Ramp at 7:30 PM, and fishing is allowed from both boats and the shoreline. Make sure to pre-register to receive a free glow stick and tote bag while supplies last.
